I'm 74 and did NOT think it necessary to get an electric toothbrush. I kept telling myself that I could do just as good a job manually. Well, guess what? I could not and cannot. After visiting my dentist and told that I was not doing a good job brushing behind my capped front teeth and unless I started doing a better job, I could lose them. Guess what? I ordered an Oral-B Professional Care 1000 Power Toothbrush from Amazon on my I-Phone before getting home to order on my desk top computer. I am totally satisfied with my Oral-B Toothbrush. Not exactly as described in ad's and manual. Operates at only one speed and I had to go out and get sensitive brush heads because it's too powerful and can't be adjusted. I've been using Oral B for over 10 years and this is the first one to disappoint.

Had an older Oral-B that has worked for years...still does. I remember when I first got the older one, it was SUCH an improvement over my hand brushing. Well, I have that feeling again. The new one definitely does an even better job. Love the 30 second reminder and the signal if you are brushing too hard. Some reviews indicate problems with refill brushes ordered from Amazon suppliers. I had that problem too. They were too loose for my old model...had to hold them on in order to function. They actually fit on this model as do the good ones from Target etc. Got a $10 rebate from the Oral-B web site plus a $15 dental visit rebate from the same site. Happy I bought this.

This is a superior electric toothbrush with loads of special features I haven't had before. My dentist said I was brushing too hard so I bought this toothbrush. If I brush too hard it turns off to let me know to ease up.

I am happy with the way the product works. The pauses at 30 second intervals can be annoying, but their purpose is to inform the user of the time passed while brushing. There may be a way to eliminate the pauses; I will need to read the user's manual more thoroughly. The product equals or exceeds the quality of cleaning I had with a previous Oral-B electric toothbrush. I would recommend other customers purchase this product.

I find this to be a terrific toothbrush...it has everything that the more expensive toothbrushes have! Also has a very handy timer on it. I would highly recommend this and it comes with fast shipping as well. It is a very nice toothbrush and has a nice powerful motor as well. Well worth the price!!

This toothbrush is great. My dentist commented that my teeth were cleaner before he knew I had bought and electric toothbrush. I also always used to brush too hard with a manual toothbrush, but now I feel like my teeth get really clean even if brushing gently. Highly recommended!

Have had many of these over the years and great dental check-ups to go with it.....By far, this unit is the best one I've had to date. It's faster (oscillating) and you'll appreciate the 30 second signal so your devoting equal time in each quadrant of your mouth. Would buy another one in a second!!!

I'VE BEEN USING BRAUN ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSHES SINCE THEY FIRST APPEARED ON THE MARKET. STILL, I WAS SURPRISED AND DELIGHTED TO FIND HOW IMPROVED THIS MODEL IS COMPARED TO PREVIOUS ONES. BETTER IN EVERY WAY.

Definitely a great brush, you just have to try. I was skeptical, but after trying one I can feel the difference.

The only reason I didn't give it a 5th star is because I changed to the dual brush one (same brand) and it gets my teeth cleaner.

I had a Braun for many years, and after it died of old age purchased another brand (on sale). Never again! The braun is the best for cleaning teeth and massaging gums.
