Philips Sonicare FlexCare Rechargeable Sonic Toothbrush with SanitizerReviewsI thought I would check these reviews and it seems that mine were not the only ones with short life. I first bought my Flexcare in Nov.2008 after using a Sensonic brush for 9 years (they no longer made them and brush heads were hard to come by). This newer SonicCare was a similar design, with the simple and MUCH cheaper brush replacements than the original SonicCare, so I bought it. That one quit working in August 2009 and SonicCare sent out a replacement free of charge. Now exactly 1 year later the new one has gone crazy turning itself off and on at will at any hour. It's just under the two year warranty and now there's another replacement on the way The brush works great, Phillips will stand behind it for two years and the service reps are good: after that you are on your own. You can see how Sensonic went out of business selling one brush every 10 years, but you have to wonder how long Phillips can keep sending out free warranty replacements. I don't know how many of these things they sell and replace, but it's hard to think of that sad lot of trash going into landfills just to keep our teeth clean. ive hade the oral-b and this thing smokes it. if your on the fence just buy it. the smaller size and the sanitizer didnt seem like that much of a big deal until you use it. p.s. it feels like you just got out of the dentist every time you brush your teeth! I dont know how to fix it. The hardware quality is BAD. You cannot open it by yourself. I have been using some version of the Sonicare toothbrush for many years...This new Flexcare with the sanitizer just takes it to a new level. My teeth have never felt so clean. I am very happy with my Sonicare FlexCare toothbrush. It is easy to use and does a great job cleaning my teeth while stimulating my gums! Average Rating:![]() |

Philips Sonicare Advance 4500 Sonic Toothbrush HX 4572ReviewsThis is quite a machine! It buzzes your whole mouth and feels like it's doing a great job. I have had electronic toothbrushes before and this one feels quite different. I am a habitual coffee/tea/wine drinker. I've been using Sonicare for about 8 years now. Earlier this year, I left my charger during a trip and did not get it back until 2 months later. In that time period, my teeth became visibly darker to the point that I really noticed it and started using brush on whiteners, which didn't really help (and I hate that gross feeling in my mouth). Anyway, I got the charger back and have been happy using my Sonicare again. I could notice that my teeth got whiter in about 2 weeks. I was starting to get gingivitis when I ordered this product. I have to admit I had used an electric toothbrush before, but I didn't see much difference from a regular brush except it was noisier and required batteries. So I decided to try Philips Sonicare because it had great reviews. Wow. What a difference! After two weeks my gums looked significantly better and stopped bleeding. And my teeth really get that clean, squeaky feeling. It is an electric toothbrush so there is still the noise and the timer that goes off when it's time to switch sides takes a bit to get use to. But it's worth it. This is a great product. Average Rating:![]() |
