I've tried every brand out there. These picks have a lot more going for them than any of the others. The number one advantage is the the horseshoe/wishbone shaped design enables one to get in between the molars with ease. Most of the other brands have the floss strung across the bottom of an arch like design making it difficult to accomplish molar flossing. You end up having to put your whole fist in the mouth to turn them in a position that will work! The other brands are also awkward in flossing front teeth as well. Glide design makes a lot more sense! Glide picks are not only much more user friendly and effective, but the quality way exceeds the others. I usually leave my tighter teeth to floss after I have done the easy ones, and this way I can usually accomplish a thorough flossing with only one pick without the floss breaking. It will eventually break if you have quite a few tight teeth. I feel like I do a much better job flossing with these picks than I would with plain floss. AND I can read as I do it if I want! I'm ordering these from Amazon because I can't find them at any of my local stores. Should be enough to last about seven or eight months.

I've been using these for many years. They were manufactured by Gore before being taken over by Crest. They are hard to find in most retail brick & mortar stores, probably because they're more expensive. They are well worth the extra money. The less expensive picks just plain don't work very well.

best floss tool. very strong, glide floss is slick enough to slide between tight spaces

For any of you that are wondering, these are the best floss picks out there. All the others are flimsy, cheap and the string breaks or gets so loose you feel like your tring to pull out your teeth instead of floss them. There is an area you squeeze to tighten the string up again, it is amazing. As you can tell I am a fanatic about my teeth and I have tried everything. These by far are my one and only choice as far as floss, floss picks are concerned. You really should give them a try and decide for yourself.

We like these floss picks the best of any we've tried, but can't find in stores now?? We are glad we can get them here. They are angled so you can reach the back teeth, and after you've flossed and the floss gets slack, you can tighten it up by pinching the plastic handle. We keep these by our lamp table in the living room and reach for them at news time and we're done in a flash. Makes flossing more enjoyable, so we're more likely to actually do it!

For me, these are the best floss picks on the market. Unfortunately, drug stores no longer carry them and have replaced them with inferior brands, although they carry other Crest products. When I search for them on the web, I was pointed to Amazon.com, so I purchased a large supply. To hell with the name-brand drug stores.

Crest's Guide Floss picks are much easier to use than competitors' picks: Crest's picks' flossthread is perpendicular to the handle, making it easy to floss without reaching deep into your mouth to access the space between molars. (which you have to do with other picks that are designed with the flossthread in line with the handle).

I grind my teeth in my sleep, so my teeth are really short. A person suggested these for my family to try. They work great for everyone else, but not for me. When I use them, they dig into my gumline and cause bleeding. They're great and handy, but not for someone with teeth close to the gums.

I prefer flossing with Kroger unwaxed floss, which is by far the strongest I've found, so I can really floss hard and thoroughly all around my teeth. Unfortunately, it is really time consuming and tiring, so about half the time I use these Crest Glide floss picks because they are easy to use and get the job done fast. They're convenient for traveling and restaurants, too. They are almost fun to use, especially compared to regular dental floss. I have some really rough and tight spaces between teeth and these floss picks take a real beating. I rinse them off and get about four days of flossing from one floss pick before it shreds.

My husband brought a different/cheaper version of these home just for us to try the concept. We found that we really liked the concept however the floss kept breaking on him, and I thought the plastic pick part of the cheaper brand was totally useless. (Have you ever tried using a plastic tooth pick?) I picked up some of these Glide picks as I had read the good reviews here... I have to say I AM HOOKED. Not only do I love the ease and ability of the most THOROUGH flossing ever, but I love the pliable tip on the end of the pick, as well. I can go around each and every tooth underneath the gum. Not only does it stimulate the gum, but it does a great job of cleaning plus it just feels great! Flossing in front of the tv right after eating is another big plus! I find myself using this thing until the floss finally breaks, which takes quite a while for me to accomplish. I love it that I can get behind the very last molar in the back with ease. Something that is very difficult to do with two big hands in my mouth. I will never go back to regular flossing! "Just say no to dentures" GREAT STUFF! Good flossing habits help prevent heart disease and may save your life: [...] I'm "picking" as I write this review! lol Happy picking!

I have been using Glide for years, and I like the wider tape; it seems to get out the food particles better than regular tape. Also it has a very slick coating that allows it to fit between tight teeth more easily. I think it is a great product.

Nothing else matches Glide's effectiveness and ease of use. Why retail stores are so reluctant to carry this product is a mystery to me. Why would anyone use anything else? Since it is hard to find, buy a dozen and store them away.

This is the only dental tape that I can use for my teeth as my teeth are so close together, I am worried that this tape will not be available in the future.

The best product for those of us with special needs; hard (or impossible) to find in stores anymore.

I have a standing order for Glide by flossing tape by Crest. It does all the things I want from a floss, gets between my teeth, seldom gets stuck but is wide enough and thick enough to do a great cleaning job. This tape definitely works better than any regular floss I've tried and better than any tape as well.
